While we knew our company would be impacted by Covid-19, we never knew how quickly it would happen.
Many of you know that we opened our gift shop and art gallery in downtown St. John's in February 2020. We were pleased to hear your feedback and comments about our store and thankful for everyone who walked through our door. We were also really excited for this year's tourist season.
After just one month of opening our downtown location, we had to close to help stop the spread of Covid-19.
Leading up to this closure, we began operating on limited hours. We were also frequently disinfecting high-touch surfaces at the shop such as door handles, hand rails, sales counter, and store electronics. Our tour vehicles were also being disinfected before, during, and after any tours that we conducted at the beginning of the year.
Our location was closed for almost a month and a half. During that time, we've received new products for the shop and read supportive emails and messages from you. We even polished the gift shop floors!
We are happy to announce the beginning of our online shop and gallery where you can continue to support local craftspeople, businesses and artists. Shop for original art and local photography from our online gallery or shop a selection of locally made items in our gift shop. More and more items will be for sale online as we increase our online selection.
