I want to thank you for the tour of St. John's on Sunday. I am
not one who uses tour operations, but having the solo tour with you
was great. The stop at the little fishing village, and having a piece of the
partridge berry pie was a real extra that I enjoyed. Anyway, I want to thank you for the extra attention. Your
hosted tour was appropriate to my tours the surrounding areas of St.

Dear Mr. Quinlan
I am writing to express thanks and appreciation, on behalf of
participants in the tour from the Canadian Judicial Council. Many of the participants were from various locations across Canada
and have never been to Newfoundland before. The universal reaction to the tour was amazement at the quality of
the presentation and the way in which you integrated the points
visited into the wider history and culture of Newfoundland. Thank you for your attention to detail which made the tour most

Thank you so much for the
fabulous tour that was provided as part
of the training of our Ambassadors. The Tourism Office has
already received a tremendous amount of positive feedback regarding
the tour, as it was enjoyed by all and a great success. I am
certain that all of the Ambassadors have a better understanding of
St. John's as a destination for visitors and have an appreciation
for the type of things that make up a good tour of the city. We wish you every success in the coming tourist season and hope to
work with you again in the near future.

RE: Mr. Brendan
(written to a travel agency)
In July my husband and I visited Newfoundland via our Roadtrek
camper van. We were picked up at Pippy Park and had a wonderful tour of St.
John's and surrounding area. Mr. Quinlan was a wealth of facts
and figures. I can't imagine how he keeps all those figures in
his head. This tour was the highlight of all our tours and especially Quidi
Vidi Village and Petty Harbour. I have purchased prints of
both as a memory of Newfoundland and St. John's and Mr. Brendan

Many thanks, Happy New Year to you.

We did want to put in writing our deep appreciation for the
professional and courteous manner in which you conducted the tour
when we visited Newfoundland last month. This was our first visit to the Island and it will not be the last. We left realizing how valuable you are to tourism in Canada! One of the incidents we recall is that you took our group to Signal
Hill at the beginning of the tour and it happened to be a foggy day. At the end of the tour the weather had cleared and you took us back
to Signal Hill, so we could have a better look. This was
beyond what we expected and were most grateful to you. Newfoundland is very beautiful and the people, friendly and hospitable. We were glad we decided to spend our holidays there and
especially glad that we took the tour with you.

We often think of your cross Canada drive to your wonderful province
and the delightful tour we had with you. Thank you for making the sights so interesting and fun, especially
having our first toutons with molasses!
Thank you again

We enjoyed our afternoon with you very much
and had a great vacation NL. Hope that you can visit Philadelphia some day. Please look us
up if you come.

I wanted to thank you again for taking time out of your busy Sunday
afternoon to show Philip and myself around the sights of
Newfoundland. I learned so much! I look forward, God willing, to seeing you again this Summer when I return with my family. With very warm regards

We have returned home after a most interesting and enjoyable visit
to Newfoundland and St. John's in particular. We made a small choice in taking your historic and Cape Spear tours. We saw areas and gained information we would not have gathered on
our own. We liked you as a person and appreciated your friendly hospitable
attitude. We will plan our next visit for early summer to do Northeast Avalon tour. Our best to you, your family and all the grand folks of St. John's.

Just a quick note to wish you and your
family all the bet for
Christmas season and New Year. I was on your tour with a couple from Virginia. It was raining
heavily on part of the tour so you kindly held an umbrella while I

Thank you for an enjoyable and memorable trip! You certainly
do know your history and the little tid-bits you gave during the
